Here are his one-year stats:
Weight: 24 lbs. 11 oz. (90th percentile)
Height: 31 inches (85th percentile)
Head circumference: 19.5 inches (gigantic)
He is healthy, happy, and so much fun. A few things I love about him right now:
- He is walking/running everywhere.
- He says "mamamama" all the time (might be because I say "mamamama" to him all the time), especially when he is upset.
- He is very opinionated and likes to make sure we notice him.
- He loves books and magazines. He'll stand at the coffee table by himself for half an hour turning the pages of his books or a magazine.
- He needs haircuts like a regular person now.
- He loves to talk to his grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins on Skype and FaceTime.
- He gets annoyed if we talk on the phone in his presence and divert our attention away from him. He will pull on your arms, legs, face, whatever it takes to get you to hang up and pay attention to him.
- He thinks the Daily Show and Colbert Report are hilarious. Seriously. He laughs whenever either show is on.
- He loves going to bed. Whether it's a nap or bedtime, when we put him in his crib, he starts kicking his legs and waving his arms until we put the blanket on him. Then he sort of wallows around luxuriously and giggles. Definitely his mother's son.
- He LOVES his dad. He follows him around and loves to play with him. His current favorite game is to get down on all fours and growl at Bryan while head butting him.
Here are a few of my favorite pics from the last month or so:
Mama's boy
Loves hanging out with dad
After mom gave him a haircut -- I guess this is his "you did an awesome job, mom" look
Watching basketball with dad
Reading his books and magazines
He is growing and changing so much that I feel like if I don't take a picture at least every day, I'm going to miss something. We love our big little boy.

I LOVE the haircut picture. Such an adorable face. I can't wait to hear when he starts talking like crazy -- I thought Addison was fun pre-speech, but her sentences are just a hoot! So much fun to look forward to with this little guy.
