I didn't write a review of the recently-released Jeff Bridges movie Crazy Heart. So, let me give you a five-second review. It's a *** movie with a **** performance by Jeff Bridges (I'm betting he finally gets his Oscar for the role) and a **** soundtrack featuring original songs, most of them performed by Bridges himself.
The biggest song, which is also a key element of the story, is "The Weary Kind," which I haven't been able to get out of my head. It's the one new song in the movie that Bridges doesn't sing. Here's the official video of the song, performed by Ryan Bingham.
Good stuff. Looks like this movie has two Oscars coming its way.
