Bryan and I came home from work around 3:00 Friday afternoon, and the snow had already started falling. It fell all through the night, and now we have about two feet at our house. The snow finally stopped mid-afternoon today. Bryan and I ventured out briefly around 3:00 because the DirecTV wasn't getting a signal, and there's a Jazz game tonight. Yes, Bryan climbed up on the roof to clear off the DirecTV dish so we could watch the Jazz game. He's a real fan.
In case you're wondering, yes, Bryan is standing, and yes, the snow is above his knees.
I really wish we had a garage. Strangely, none of the houses in our neighborhood have garages, and very few even have carports. Since we bought our house, I've become a pretty avid watcher of HGTV and DIY Network. I figure if I watch it enough, I'll be able to build a garage myself eventually. No? Bad idea?

One of our neighbors was brave enough to park on the street in front of our house. I think he will probably regret that, especially after the snowplows come through and bury the car even further.
Our church meetings have been canceled, so we have another luxurious day of relaxation ahead of us. There is some speculation that we won't be able to get to work on Monday, but we'll see. At some point, the cabin fever will take over, but for now, I'm enjoying the enforced idleness.

That is SO crazy! We've been listening to the news, thinking about you guys. We're praying for you lots, too. It's not my front yard, so I can say from here that it looks like lots of fun! ;)
It's fun to see pictures of the snow and not have to actually be in it. Lovin' the southern California life about now. Jason came home from work today and said, "It's COLD today!" It was 59degrees outside.
