Six-month Stats

Archie had his six-month appointment on Monday (11/14).  Here are his stats:

Height: 27.5 inches
Weight: 19 lbs. 15 oz.  (I thought for SURE he was over 20 lbs...)

He's a big kid -- around the 85th percentile for both height and weight.  He's wearing mostly 9-month-old clothes, along with a few 12-month-old outfits mixed in.  We are having so much fun with him it's hard to believe.  A few hours after Archie has gone to bed,  I often say to Bryan, "Should we go get him up?"  I'm mostly kidding....mostly.

Here are a few of my favorite pics from the last few weeks.  This first one captures one a few of my favorite Archie traits.  First, his fuzzy hair.  As Nanny Betty said, teenagers buy products to make their hair stick up like that.  Archie's just does it naturally.  Second, his raised eyebrows.  He is so expressive, and his eyebrows are always involved with his facial expressions.  And third, don't you just want to pinch those cheeks and kiss that button nose?

Look how handsome my boys are.  I'm the luckiest girl in the world!



Archie LOVES sitting up by himself and reaching for things.  He often reaches so far that he throws himself over forward, and then gets annoyed because he realizes he's on his tummy and it's going to take a lot of work to get back to a position he likes.

He is the joy of our lives -- we love having him in our home.
